#1. World Digestive Health Day 2025 Awareness Campaign

The Firm Health Ghana Foundation commemorates World Digestive Health Day 2025 with a nationwide awareness initiative focused on educating the public about the importance of digestive wellness. Through community outreach, educational materials, and online engagement, the campaign promotes habits that support a healthy digestive system.

Objective: To raise awareness about digestive health, encourage preventive care, and empower individuals with knowledge on maintaining a healthy gut through proper diet, hydration, and lifestyle practices.
Implementation: The campaign will be carried out through educational sessions, digital media advocacy, and the distribution of health tips across various communities and platforms. Key topics will include the benefits of a high-fiber diet, the importance of staying hydrated, and recognizing signs of digestive issues. Healthcare professionals and nutritionists will also provide guidance on practical dietary changes to improve gut health.

#2. World Kidney Day 2025 Free Health Screening

The Firm Health Ghana Foundation, in collaboration with Government Hospital, Bogoso and GhanaWeb, is organizing a free health screening to commemorate World Kidney Day 2025. This initiative aims to promote early detection, prevention, and education on kidney health, ensuring that individuals receive essential medical check-ups and guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Objective: To address critical health concerns related to kidney disease, diabetes, and hypertension by providing free health screenings, raising awareness about early detection, and promoting preventive healthcare measures.
Implementation: Organizing a free health screening event in partnership with medical experts from Bogoso Government Hospital and Tarkwa Community Hospital. The program will offer Blood Urea and Creatinine Tests, Blood Glucose Tests, and Blood Pressure Checks, alongside community engagement activities to educate residents on kidney health.
Impact - The initiative will help detect kidney-related issues early, reducing the risk of severe complications and lessening the financial burden of costly treatments such as dialysis or transplants. By providing free medical check-ups, the program ensures that underserved communities gain access to essential healthcare services, ultimately improving overall public health.
