Thomas Tetteh is a seasoned broadcast journalist with over 16 years of professional
experience in radio broadcasting and online journalism. He works at Dynamite FM-UMaT
in Tarkwa, serving as the Morning Show Host and News Editor.
Thomas began his media career with Dynamite FM as an intern in August 2008. Through
hard work and dedication, he rose to become the station’s Editor until he left in
December 2012.
In January 2013, he joined Western Multimedia, the operators of Trinity FM and Fact
FM in Bogoso, where he served in various capacities, including News Editor, Programs
Manager, and Administrative Manager, until January 2020, where he demonstrated
remarkable leadership that significantly impacted the organization’s growth and
operations.
His leadership was instrumental in transforming the content and programming of both
stations, elevating them into preferred choices for listeners in the region.
As a News Editor, he ensured that the newsroom maintained a high standard of
accuracy, relevance, and timeliness, fostering trust and credibility among their
audience.
His ability to mentor and inspire his team as Administrative Manager, contributed to
the overall growth of Western Multimedia, solidifying its reputation as a
competitive media house in the region.
He joined Dynamite FM again in February 2020 to host the Dynamite Breakfast Show. As
the host of Dynamite FM’s flagship morning show, Thomas has redefined morning radio
in Tarkwa and its environs.
His dynamic presentation style, incisive interviews, and engaging discussions on
current affairs have made the program the most listened-to morning show in Tarkwa
has a unique blend of professionalism, humour, and a deep understanding of community
issues, ensuring the show resonates with a diverse audience.
Through his innovative approach, Thomas has introduced interactive segments that
encourage listener participation, fostering a sense of community and loyalty among
his audience.
By focusing on local issues alongside national and international news, he has
positioned Dynamite FM as the voice of the people in Tarkwa, addressing their
